Austin's Blessing

We took the opportunity to bless Austin this last weekend, while both of our families were in town. Since both were leaving on Sunday morning, we did it on a Saturday afternoon. Austin made sure to make it memorable. He peed all over during the blessing; leaving Uncle Will's hands dripping and a puddle on Aaron's shoes. Some how he managed to get it all over his outfit, all the way up to his shoulder.

Sock Hands

We've lost his mittens.
An attempt to stop him from pulling his own hair and scratching up his face.
But, since he is an escape artist (from swaddles, mittens, and the like) they don't stay on very long.

Proud Grandparents

...and a proud Aunt

I was so lucky to have my mom here for so long, and to see so much family. We can't wait to see them again in 2 weeks!

Aaron and Austin

At the Hospital

fresh out of the oven
 a full head of hair
 drugged up

1 week

We have successfully survived one week without killing our baby or each other.
We are running on little sleep. We catch it when we can.

Right now

I am sitting in the studio lounge area, trying to relax between the contractions coming every five minutes, while listening to Aaron lay down some drum parts for the album.

We will most likely head to the hospital from here, if contractions keep coming like this.
I am going to wait it out as long as I can though, because I do not want to be sent home from the hospital.

The boys ordered Chinese food for lunch, and my fortune said,
"Today will be lucky and memorable for you."
Let's hope that means a baby is coming...today!

OUUCH! contraction.

Hot Air Balloons

We woke up at 6 this morning, to go and see these hot air balloons. They were pretty cool. If you live in the Provo area and missed it, they will be there again tomorrow morning. It's the field between the hospital and the high school.

One Sunday Afternoon

We went on a leisurely Sunday drive through Alpine Loop, and headed over to Cascade Springs. We had tried going to Cascade Springs 2 or 3 times before this, but the road had always been closed, so we were excited that it was open.
Instead of coming back through the Alpine Loop, we decided to go through Midway and Heber. On our way out, we passed by this little area that looked like it had come straight out of some cowboy movie set. Turns out it was Heber Old Town.
