Peek-a-boo!

This guy is hilarious! We drove home from Salt Lake (almost an hour drive) with him playing peek-a-boo most of the way home. Let me tell you, his laugh is contagious!

He fell asleep on the way, so we brought him in to the house, and left him in his car seat for the rest of his nap. Aaron peeked in to check on him, and found him playing peek-a-boo all by himself; lifting up the blanket, bringing it down, and smiling a huge smile to himself!

Jillian's Half Marathon

My sister ran a half marathon. Isn't she awesome? We cheered her on at mile 11.

 I don't know how she is still this happy, this far into the race.

Walking

Austin took his first steps today. He has been walking around furniture and standing on his own for a while, but he decided to let go and walk.

AND I MISSED THEM!

I go shopping with my sister to Costco one evening, and get a call from Aaron. A few minutes later,  I hear, "He just let go of the fireplace and took some steps!" We've been trying to get him to do it again, but he won't.

Two Little Frogs

Nicole, Jamie, and James came to visit us. We love them. AND, we love matching frog outfits! These two are so different, but both soooo cute. 

We can't wait until we get to see you guys again!

While they were here, Austin started being shy around people. He will lower his head, but keep his eyes on you, and start playing with the carpet.

Play me some music!

This little man just discovered that he could reach the piano keys; he has been serenading me all day.

Explorer

We have been so anxious for it to be nice outside, so we can go and explore! Today it was sunny, but still a bit chilly. We bundled up, and headed out. Austin put just about everything in his mouth; dandelions, leaves, grass...

Baby Gate

Since he has started pulling himself up to stand, he is just getting into everything. This is our version of a baby gate. It keeps him out of the kitchen, the cords from the tv, and off of the fireplace.

Fictionist did a beautiful cover of a beautiful song. They recorded this song for the BYU TV series, The Song That Changed My Life. I highly recommend watching the full episode, these guys are inspiring. They just posted this video on youtube today, so I thought I would share it with all of you here.
